CheapCaribbean.com Internship Work

Below are various links to blogs that I wrote at my first internship for CheapCaribbean.com in the summer of 2016. I was a Communications Intern, but I often wrote blogs for the Marketing/Content team. CheapCaribbean.com changed its brand to a more spunky, "cheeky" personality and needed a writer to correspond with the brand change. Basically, I got to specialize in beach puns! After being a Communications Intern, I returned to CheapCaribbean.com for my winter break in 2016. I worked there for a month as a Marketing Content Intern, in which I updated old resort detail pages with the new brand voice.

Iberostar Cozumel

Back again, enjoyed for the same reasons We returned to this resort for the second year in a row. Our primary reasons were the diving, small resort with good service and dive shop. We booked directly with Iberostar and saved money over the travel companies, such as Apple. They handled flight and resort. We just had to handle the transfers which was easy on line in advance and would have been easy at arrival and departure. We actually had a dedicated transfer for 4 of us for a little over $100 r

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro

Nice beaches, clean property, lot of nice staff, enough food the whole day. You get around by trains they bring you from lobby to beach whole day. Everywhere there are disinfection gel bottles. Rooms getting older but ok and clean. Satellite TV, WIFI works Some issues to be fixed 1) staff lots of time busy with each other. 2) Food 90% almost cold. We waited for new servings to get it hot. 3) Restaurants to book for Europe poor except for teppanyaki restaurant. Difference in chef makes it. We do

Bahia Principe Grand Tulum

We were at the Bahia Principe last month and a good time in this large property. Super nice environment drowned into nature with heaps of animals going around constantly, which gives a lot of fun to kids. Unlike comments I saw before going there, receptionist has been very kind and efficient. All staff was very friendly despite getting too used to get tips from North American visitors... The whole facility is clean and gardeners are constantly keeping areas neat, sometimes even too much since th
